Football Recap: Braswell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Braswell lost against Coppell back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals fell 25-21 to the Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Cowboys are ranked 38th).

Coppell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan McAfee led the charge by rushing for 109 yards and one score on only nine carries. McAfee really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Another receiver making a difference was Crew Davis, who picked up 69 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Braswell dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Coppell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
