Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Delaware). They never let the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

West Delaware's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Vinton-Shellsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

West Delaware wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-1 win against Maquoketa on the 20th. As for Vinton-Shellsburg, they will square off against Mt. Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
