Briana Mcferran and Sydney Santora secure win for Lower Moreland

Recap: Lower Moreland Lions vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cheltenham, the Lower Moreland Lions were happy to have found some success on Monday. They secured a 34-29 W over Plymouth Whitemarsh. This was payback for Lower Moreland, who suffered a 59-40 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lower Moreland was led to victory by Briana Mcferran and Sydney Santora. Mcferran scored 12 points along with two steals and two blocks, while Santora scored six points along with ten rebounds and two blocks. Mcferran hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games.

Lower Moreland's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Moreland will challenge New Hope-Solebury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they will head out on the road to face off against Hatboro-Horsham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hatboro-Horsham will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 431st, while Plymouth Whitemarsh is ranked 167th).
