It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Greenbrier ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lakeside Panthers by a score of 14-10. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won nine in a row.

Greenbrier got a massive performance out of Sophia Griffin, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Griffin has posted over her last ten matches. Addie Thouvenot was another key player, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four RBI and one run.

Greenbrier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Greenbrier's record now sits at 16-8. As for Lakeside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Greenbrier will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lakeside: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
