Softball Recap: Bowdon Falls Short of Wilcox County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bowdon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Wilcox County Patriots by a score of 9-8 on Monday. The Red Devils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Bowdon's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Wilcox County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Bowdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilcox County, they will head out on the road to challenge Washington-Wilkes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
