Soccer Recap: Eagle Rock Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bravo last Friday, Eagle Rock came back down to earth. The Eagle Rock Eagles fell just short of the Marshall Barristers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Barristers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Eagle Rock's goal came courtesy of Maleah Argota, who's now up to four this season.

Eagle Rock's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-2-3. As for Marshall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Coming up, Eagle Rock is taking a road trip to take on Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
