Softball Game Preview: Woodstock Wolverines vs. Etowah Eagles

The Woodstock Wolverines are taking a road trip to challenge the Etowah Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodstock is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with an 11-6 win over Paulding County on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, Etowah had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Milton 4-2.

Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Etowah, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Woodstock came out on top in a nail-biter against Etowah in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
