Recap: Poly Bears vs. Colony Titans
There's no place like home for the Poly Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They managed a 39-35 win over Colony on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Poly also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
It was another big night for Nea Denton, who scored 21 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Poly's points. Another player making a difference was Juliet Zaragoza, who scored eight points.
Poly pushed their record up to 5-13 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Colony, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poly will take on Lakeside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colony and Ayala will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
