Basketball Recap: Needles Beats Adelson for Their Seventh Straight Win

Needles extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Gianna Collier. The Needles Mustangs blew past Adelson 73-17 on Tuesday thanks in part to Collier, who went 9 of 11 on her way to 25 points and three steals. The game was her eighth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Harvey, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Needles pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.3 points. As for Adelson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Needles has already played their next match, a 64-26 victory against Mohave Accelerated on the 23rd. Adelson has also already played their next contest (against Laughlin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
