Softball Game Preview: Lithonia Bulldogs vs. Cedar Shoals Jaguars

Lithonia hasn't had much luck against Cedar Shoals recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Neither Lithonia nor Cedar Shoals posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Lithonia fell victim to North Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 18-0.

Meanwhile, Cedar Shoals also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 14-0 to East Forsyth on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost eight in a row.

Cedar Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Lithonia, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.

Lithonia might still be hurting after the 18-4 defeat they got from Cedar Shoals in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
