Volleyball Recap: Cary Academy Triumphs + How To Watch

Cary Academy won the last time they faced Thales Academy Apex and things went their way on Monday too. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Titans.

Cary Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-18, 11-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Thales Academy Apex's loss came despite strong showings from Julia Sheng and Emma Woodard. Sheng had nine digs and three aces, while Woodard had 22 digs.

Cary Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Thales Academy Apex, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cary Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cannon at 5:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Thales Academy Apex, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Wayne Christian on the 26th.
