Softball Recap: Lawton-Bronson Comes Up Short

Lawton-Bronson lost against Akron-Westfield back in June of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Westerners, falling 8-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawton-Bronson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Akron-Westfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Lawton-Bronson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 22-5 victory against Ar-We-Va on the 28th. As for Akron-Westfield, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against River Valley on the 27th.
