Softball Recap: Dodge County Comes Up Short

Dodge County's last matchup with Bleckley County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Royals, falling 16-1. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to the Royals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dodge County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scarlett Parkerson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Dodge County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bleckley County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dodge County will take on rival Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bleckley County is set to square off against their familiar foe East Laurens at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
