Softball Recap: Mid-Prairie Takes a Loss

Mid-Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Linn Lynx.

Mid-Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for North Linn, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Prairie will head out to square off against Regina at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Linn, they will venture away from home to challenge Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Defenders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lynx surely won't give up without a fight.
