Football Recap: Proctor Takes a Loss

Proctor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks, falling 33-6. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Proctor lost, don't look at Walter Phillips. Despite the final result, he picked up 119 receiving yards and one touchdown. Phillips showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 52 yards.

Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Newburgh Free Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
