Soccer Recap: Bryan County Takes a Loss

Bryan County lost against Metter back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bryan County Redskins lost 9-0 to the Metter Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Tigers are ranked 59th).

Bryan County dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Metter, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Bryan County has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against McIntosh County Academy on the 11th. As for Metter, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Claxton on the 11th.
