Beverly Hills' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Santa Monica, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1.

Santa Monica beat Beverly Hills 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Monica since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
