Softball Recap: Ardmore Takes a Loss

Ardmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-0 to the Byng Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in August.

Ardmore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Byng, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Ardmore will venture away from home to square off against Sulphur at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Byng, they will host Ada at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
