Softball Recap: Sutter Takes a Loss

Sutter suffered their biggest defeat since May 16, 2025 on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Dixon Rams. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this contest were averaging four runs allowed.

Sutter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalena Delacerna, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Dixon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Sutter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 win against Woodland on the 19th. As for Dixon, they have also already played their next game, an 18-0 victory against Natomas on the 19th.
