Volleyball Recap: North Cobb Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Cobb, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Cobb was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10.

North Cobb can attribute much of their success to Hannah Nicholson, who had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces Nicholson has posted over her last six contests.

North Cobb now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, North Cobb and Kennesaw Mountain will both be playing Hillgrove the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Hawks at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
