Nyomi sanchez leads a balanced attack to beat Barstow

Recap: Adelanto Saints vs. Barstow Aztecs

The Adelanto Saints had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against Barstow by a score of 42-31. Given Adelanto's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Barstow is ranked 874th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Adelanto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from nyomi sanchez, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Nina Lacy, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Adelanto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Barstow, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
