Softball Recap: Charlton County Has No Trouble Against Brooks County

Charlton County had won three straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 6-5-1 to make it four. Everything went their way against the Brooks County Trojans as they made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for Brooks County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Brooks County's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macie Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Wilson has hit this season.

Charlton County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 20-1 victory against Turner County on the 28th. As for Brooks County, they have also already played their next game, a 17-1 loss against Valwood on the 27th.
