Baseball Recap: Lagrange's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game, LaGrange was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Mary Persons Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Grangers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Friday, they had to take a 7-1 defeat.

The victory snapped LaGrange's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record. As for Mary Persons, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaGrange will square off against Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Grangers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Mary Persons, they will face off against Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
