Baseball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Takes a Loss

If Washington-Wilkes was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Greene County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Greenbrier Wolfpack on Friday, falling 16-1.

Washington-Wilkes dropped their record down to 10-20 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Greenbrier, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
