Baseball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale was the 6-1 winner over Republic when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Wednesday.

Glendale has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-14 record this season. As for Republic, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-22.

Glendale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Republic, they will venture away from home to square off against Ozark at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
