Basketball Recap: Harvard-Westlake Takes a Loss

Harvard-Westlake fought the good fight in their overtime game against Marlborough on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marlborough Mustangs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Mustangs are ranked 45th).

Harvard-Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Marlborough, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10.

As of now, neither Harvard-Westlake nor Marlborough have any future games scheduled.
