Football Recap: Capitan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Capitan took a blow against Hot Springs, falling 37-6. Capitan hasn't had much luck with Hot Springs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Nehemiah Smith had an outrageously good game for Hot Springs as he rushed for 145 yards and one score on only ten carries. Those 145 rushing yards gave Smith a new career-high. Tristan Polanco also helped with three TDs in total.

Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hot Springs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Capitan will be playing at home against Hozho Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hot Springs, they are taking a road trip to square off against Thoreau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
