Baseball Recap: Buford Comes Up Short

The Buford Wolves came up short against the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Saturday and fell 7-4.

Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Buford will head out on the road to square off against Dacula at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Wesleyan at 5:55 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Eagles have won three straight at home, while the Wolves won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
