Meanwhile, Houston County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over East Hickman County. The game was the first time the Fighting Irish have beaten the Eagles on their court since January 10, 2023.

Harpeth came out on top in a nail-biter against Houston County in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 51-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
