Artesia hadn't done well against Lovington recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for Artesia as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Anton Wodarz and Moises Corza scored both of Artesia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Artesia's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Lovington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
