Football Recap: Blackduck Find Success

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Blackduck ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past the South Ridge Panthers with an 18-12 victory. The score was all tied up 12-12 at the break, but the Drakes were the better team in the second half.

The win got Blackduck back to even at 1-1. As for South Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blackduck will take on rival Kelley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Cook County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
