Homestead dropped down to 9-8 on Tuesday, ending the team's seven-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Grafton Black Hawks, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Highlanders have suffered since September 26, 2024.

Anya Mikhailenko paced Homestead's offense, picking up eight kills. Mikhailenko got some help from Lauren Faucett and her nine assists.

As for Grafton, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The match marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Ava Dotson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 assists and seven digs.

Looking ahead, Homestead will face off against Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Grafton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Beaver Dam on the 20th.
