Preview: Hatboro-Horsham Hatters vs. New Hope-Solebury Lions
Hatboro-Horsham is 0-8 against New Hope-Solebury since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters will be home for the holidays to greet the New Hope-Solebury Lions at 7:00 p.m. Hatboro-Horsham will be strutting in after a win while New Hope-Solebury will be coming in after a loss.
Hatboro-Horsham had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Harry S. Truman on Wednesday and snuck past 39-36. That 39-36 margin sets a new team best for Hatboro-Horsham this season.
Meanwhile, New Hope-Solebury was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 47-41 to St. Hubert Catholic for Girls.
Hatboro-Horsham's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for New Hope-Solebury, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Things could have been worse for Hatboro-Horsham, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-47 loss to New Hope-Solebury in their previous matchup back in January.
