Softball Recap: Castle View Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Castle View's offense. They came up short against the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles on Monday, falling 11-0. If the Sabercats were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to the Golden Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Castle View has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Mountain Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Castle View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-6 win against Douglas County on the 30th. As for Mountain Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-5 victory against ThunderRidge on the 30th.
