Basketball Game Preview: Desert Scorpions vs. Bishop Union Broncos

Desert hasn't had much luck against Bishop Union recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Desert Scorpions will look to defend their home court against the Bishop Union Broncos at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Desert was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-51 to Kern Valley.

Meanwhile, Bishop Union suffered their biggest loss since December 22, 2023 on Friday. They lost 50-30 to Rosamond.

Desert's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7. As for Bishop Union, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Things could have been worse for Desert, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-42 loss to Bishop Union in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bishop Union's Kristin Allen, who went 10 of 15 en route to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
