Softball Recap: Worth County Rams vs. Charlton County Indians

Worth County couldn't beat Charlton County on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Rams fell just short of the Indians by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rams have suffered since September 19, 2024.

Laurie Pritchard was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Pritchard was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

In other batting news, Sher'Miah Donaldson and Kamryn Kendrick stepped up to the plate in a big way. Donaldson went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Kendrick went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Worth County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Charlton County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.
