Basketball Recap: MacDonald Comes Up Short

MacDonald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 46-12 loss at the hands of the Cupertino Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Condor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1205th, while the Pioneers are ranked 596th).

MacDonald's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cupertino, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MacDonald has already played their next game (against Santa Clara), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cupertino is taking a road trip to take on Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Cupertino surely won't give up without a fight.
