Basketball Recap: Le Lycee Comes Up Short

Le Lycee played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Pilibos Eagles, falling 64-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-14 back in December of 2024.

Pilibos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nola Yousefi, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance also gave Yousefi a new career-high in rebounds (three). Another player making a difference was Lara Kasbarian, who earned ten points.

Le Lycee's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pilibos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Buckley the next time they take the court. Pilibos will head out to face Buckley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Le Lycee will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
