Soccer Game Preview: Colony vs. South Hills

The Colony Titans will challenge the South Hills Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Colony didn't have quite enough to beat Los Altos and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Conquerors are ranked 612th).

Meanwhile, South Hills' game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Alta Loma, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by exactly three goals.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for South Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
