Soccer Game Preview: Immanuel vs. Strathmore + Official Tickets

The Immanuel Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Strathmore Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Immanuel is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Avenal on Thursday. Neither the Eagles nor the Buccaneers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Immanuel's goal came courtesy of Ellyann Thomas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Strathmore's offense. They lost 8-0 to Porterville on Monday. Strathmore haven't had much luck with Porterville recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

With that draw, Immanuel's record moves to 0-1-1. As for Strathmore, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
