Soccer Recap: Laguna Hills Takes a Loss

Laguna Hills entered their game against University on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Laguna Hills Hawks fell just short of the University Trojans by a score of 1-0. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Laguna Hills fell to 4-1-2. As for University, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Laguna Hills will be taking part in a tournament against Santa Fe at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Laguna Hills' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Santa Fe's offense will have their work cut out for them. University will take on Corona del Mar in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corona del Mar will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something University surely won't give up without a fight.
