Baseball Recap: Harris County Has No Trouble Against Marion County

On Saturday, everything went the Harris County Tigers's way against the Marion County Eagles as the Harris County Tigers made off with a 14-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Jacob Eber looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Daejeon Elder and Luke McEldoon did most of the damage at the plate: Elder went a perfect4-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while McEldoon went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Ashton Herring was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Harris County's record now sits at 2-0. As for Marion County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Harris County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Marion County: the pair will be back at it again later today.
