Softball Recap: Afton Takes a Loss

Afton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Hominy Bucks.

Afton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Hominy, the win (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Afton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Welch at 6:00 p.m. on December 19. As for Hominy, they will face off against Kellyville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
