Soccer Recap: East Hall Takes a Loss

East Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Dragons are ranked 108th).

East Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

East Hall will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Dawson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
