Pacifica is 10-0 against Rio Mesa since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pacifica Tritons will venture away from home to face off against the Rio Mesa Spartans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Pacifica and three for Rio Mesa.

Last Saturday, Pacifica ended up a good deal behind Dos Pueblos and lost 76-60. While losing is never fun, the Tritons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Chargers are ranked 179th).

Meanwhile, Rio Mesa was beaten by Oxnard 70-29 on Saturday.

Pacifica's record now sits at 7-11. As for Rio Mesa, their record is now 7-12.

Pacifica was able to grind out a solid victory over Rio Mesa in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 47-36. Will Pacifica repeat their success, or does Rio Mesa have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
