San Diego has gone 10-0 against Clairemont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The San Diego Cavers will host the Clairemont Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 910th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 103rd).

Clairemont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for San Diego, they now have a losing record at 6-7-1.
