Football Recap: Parma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Parma played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Marsing Huskies and fell 45-7. The Panthers have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Moises Montes and Noah Shelton. Montes gained 139 total yards and two touchdowns while Shelton rushed for 101 yards and two TDs. Montes also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Parma's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marsing, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Parma and Marsing will both be playing New Plymouth the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Pilgrims at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Huskies will host them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
