Football Recap: Del Norte Knights vs. Belen Eagles
Del Norte extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-5. They took a hard 56-38 fall against the Belen Eagles. Even if the Knights couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Defeat or not, Del Norte got some senior leadership from Keandre Wyatt and Isaac Alatriste. Wyatt rushed for 131 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Alatriste rushed for 117 yards and one score. Those 117 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Alatriste.
As for Belen, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
