Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Banks County). They were the clear victor by a 17-1 margin over the Commerce Tigers on Friday. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Banks County's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Commerce, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banks County will head out to square off against Rabun County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Banks County's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Commerce, they are taking a road trip to take on Social Circle at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Social Circle's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Commerce's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
