Soccer Recap: Minarets Starts Season with Draw on the Road

Minarets kicked off their season on Tuesday but they'll have to wait until their next contest for a more definitive result. Neither they nor the Hoover Patriots could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Devon Menchaca was the only thing that stood between Minarets and a shutout considering she scored both of Minarets' goals.

Minarets has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Orange Cove on the 20th. Hoover has also already played their next match (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
